## What is Wow?

Wownero is a CPU-mineable memecoin. It is a software fork of Monero with a lite version of RandomX (1MB scratchpad), a ring size of 22, and a faster difficulty adjustment.

Wownero has a deflationary finite supply of 184,467,440 coins with a slow and steady emission over 50 years.

Wownero is a fairly launched coin with no premine, instamine, or dev tax.

## How to Volunteer

You do not need to be a code developer to volunteer in Wownero. Here are some ways you could help out.

* Make memes, art, music and post your awesome masterpiece to /r/Wownero or Twitter with hash tags $WOW #wownero.
* Test out Wownero software by syncing, sending and receiving transactions, or [building from source](https://git.wownero.com/wownero/wownero#building-from-source). If you find a problem, [open an issue](https://git.wownero.com/wownero/wownero/issues/new) to report it.
* Write "how to" tutorials on [Medium](https://medium.com).
* Make Youtube videos about Wownero. It would be nice to have educational videos.
* Help troubleshoot common problems for newbs on Discord, Telegram, IRC.
* Translate Wownero information to other languages.
* Support Wownero's network security by running a full node at home.
* Host public nodes with Tor, I2P support and share your domain/IP address.
