`freetype-config` has been deprecated in favour of pkg-config in v2.9.1
but downstream packages (ftgl gd sdl_ttf sdl2_ttf) still require it.

The following script was applied:

One of them was patched manually (patch.mk). Makefile has text
"See index.html for further information" unrelated to licensing.

Update freetype to 2.5.0.1 (fix for a packaging error): "No code
changes. However, CFF_CONFIG_OPTION_OLD_ENGINE was accidentally
enabled."
Also update the website URL.
Unsetting CONFIG_SITE was the right way to solve the problem that
--libdir was working around.
